The Next GED Plus program is the vision of our founder, Steve Dobo. It was created through thoughtful collaboration between school districts and colleges with the goal of creating a more focused path for students to envision their future.

What makes this program different? We’ve created a blended learning environment with the understanding that every student has individual needs. To better capture those needs, Next offers individual learning plans for students to progress at their own pace, while having access to one-on-one instruction to ensure they can be successful. Our programs are designed for youth who are not on-track to graduate with a traditional high school diploma. We offer a GED Plus option (ages 16-21) as well as credit recovery toward earning your High School Diploma (ages 14-21). Each of our programs serve different communities and may offer slightly different resources.

Next Littleton

Based out of Littleton Public Schools Education Services Center, Next Littleton is an effort of love and collaboration between three school districts and one college partner: Arapahoe Community College, Englewood Schools, Littleton Public Schools, and Jefferson County Public Schools.  The site has rolling enrollment and can serve roughly 120 students from the participating districts. Some of the awesome services we provide are:

  • FREE GED testing

  • FREE college coursework or concurrent enrollment

  • Workforce development

  • Social-emotional support 

Next Littleton has rolling enrollment and is an ideal environment for students wanting to experience college-life prior to making the transition to college.


Next Arvada

Next Arvada is nestled in the heart of the Red Rocks Community College Arvada campus.  The program boasts a strong partnership with Jefferson County Public Schools and Red Rocks Community College. The site can serve nearly 120 students from Jefferson County Public Schools, and other participating districts. Our program perks cover:

  • FREE GED testing

  • FREE college coursework or concurrent enrollment

  • Workforce development

  • Social-emotional support 

Next Arvada has rolling enrollment and is an ideal environment for students wanting to experience college-life prior to making the transition to college. 


Next District 6

Open Position | Program administrator

Formerly known as the Career and College Prep (CCP) program, the Next District 6 site provides youth with GED testing preparation as well as key wrap-around supports. Sound good? Here are a few of the key support offerings: 

  • FREE GED testing 

  • FREE college coursework or concurrent enrollment 

  • Workforce development 

  • Social-emotional support  

The site can accommodate up to 120 students from the Greeley-Evans 6 community and feeds into AIMs Community College for students interested in college opportunities.  Next District 6 has rolling enrollment for eligible students.
